Royal Caribbean’s Icon of The Seas makes its native voyage to the western Caribbean in March 2024. The Icon Class cruise ship will receive priority docking at the Port of Roatan in Coxen Hole. The cruise ship has two terminals available upon arrival.

A note worth knowing: “the sloth sanctuary” is not one place. Three of the parks above go by that name — Mayan Eden Eco Park, Daniel Johnson’s Monkey & Sloth Hangout and AJ’s Monkeys & Sloths — and as the times show, they are not interchangeable. If a tour listing just says “sloth sanctuary,” ask which one before you book.

AJ’s sits only a few minutes on from Little French Key, so those two pair neatly into a single Icon of The Seas port day — sloths and monkeys in the morning, the beach and the water park after.

Roatán is a small island, so nothing worth seeing is far from the pier — but the roads are narrow and the drive is slower than the distance suggests.
