Located in Coxen Hole on Roatán’s south shore, the Port of Roatán (also called the Town Center or Roatan Village) is the island’s main cruise port and welcomes several ships each week. Its two berths host lines including Royal Caribbean, Norwegian, MSC, Celebrity, Oceania, Regent, Virgin Voyages and Viking.

U.S. dollars are widely accepted and ATMs are available at the Town Center. Cards work for most purchases; keep small cash for vendors outside the port.

Wi-Fi is available around the Town Center, often free with a purchase. Local carriers Claro and Tigo have good island coverage (Tigo strongest).

Time Zone

Roatán runs on Central Standard Time and does not observe daylight saving. Confirm your ship’s all-aboard time against local island time.
