About Gumbalimba Park Tour
The Gumbalimba Park is located in West Bay, Roatan, Honduras. The 20-acre beach-front park offers interaction with Capuchin Monkeys, exotic birds, and other indigenous island animals like the iguana. Botanical gardens cover much of the park with access to West Bay Beach for leisure time and water sports.
Gecko Cafe offers refreshments and food while lounging around the freshwater pool. Experience Coxen’s Pirate Cave and numerous waterfalls and fountains in Gumbalimba Park. You might run into Jack Sparrow there, among the life-size pirates, treasures, weapons, and maps. Cross the suspension bridge before the pirates get you!
Relax on the beach or pick a water-sport activity or two while visiting this sought-out Roatan Island excursion. Additional activities at Gumbalimba Park include Monkey Trail Canopy Zipline, SNUBA diving, snorkel & mask rental, and kayaking.

Gumbalimba Park is located in West Bay, Roatan. It’s approximately a 18 minutes drive (10 km) from the Port of Roatan and 30 minutes drive (18 km) from the Mahogany Bay Cruise Center.
Gumbalimba Park is open seven days a week, between the hours of 8:00 am and 4:00 pm.Â
Gumbalimba Park admission is as follows; Adults (13+) $35.00, Child (4-12) $20.00, Child (0-3) FREE entrance. Please note, stated admission fees do not include transportation or applicable taxes.
It is not necessary to book in advance. However, it is recommended if you are traveling by cruise ship.Â
Yes, there are sloths at Gumbalimba Park, but not for handling by island guests.
You can hold and interact with a sloth at various parks in Roatan. Some parks include; Manawakie Eco-Nature Park, and the Mayan Eden Eco-Nature Park.
