About Little French Key Excursion

One of Roatan’s hottest island attractions is none other than the Little French Key. Located just off the coast, this private island excursion has cruise ship passengers and resort guests flocking to its location.

The paradise within a paradise, is a short 20 minute scenic drive from both the Coxen Hole and Mahogany Bay cruise ship ports. The excitement begins once you arrive at Frenchy’s 44, you will board a deck boat for a three to five minute boat ride to the LFK, meanwhile taking in all the beautiful surroundings the Caribbean has to offer. Round-trip transportation is included and part of all Little French Key Packages you purchase with us. 

Little French Key Activities

The Little French Key offers various activities and services to satisfy almost any request. Water-sports include snorkeling, diving, kayaking, paddle boarding, etc.. On land, enjoy the exotic zoo, get a massage and pedicure as you relax. The horseback riding/swimming is a popular activity and takes place in the beautiful turquoise Caribbean waters. Relax under your palapa and enjoy your ceviche and cold drinks in paradise!

History of Little French Key, Roatan

The Little French Key was originally named Frenchman Cay, after the French pirate who settled in the area many many years ago. Positioned just off the coast of Roatan, in the southerly side of the island, the little private cay or key (island) is one of many that can be found throughout the western Caribbean.

The eco-friendly day resort leaves a zero carbon footprint, has a bio-digested closed loop system with zero sewage discharge to the island and sea. The rainwater from the roofs provide daily water for use and irrigation. LFK is truly a special place to visit.
