Carnival's Mardi Gras Sets Sail For Mahogany Bay
Roatan, Honduras – Carnival Cruise Line’s Mardi Gras is the newest edition to its Excellence-class of cruise ships. After several delays, the 6500 passenger cruise ship will begin its pre-inaugural voyages to the western Caribbean at the end of July. Ports of call include; Costa Maya, Cozumel, and Mahogany Bay (Roatan, Honduras).

Island guests disembarking from the Carnival Mardi Gras are not required to provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination, nor a PCR test prior to arrival. However, all driver’s and tour guides will take precautionary measures in efforts to avoid transmission of such disease. Thus, all DRET staff is vaccinated, wear masks, and offer complimentary masks and hand sanitizer to our island guests.
