Roatan, Honduras – Carnival Cruise Line’s Carnival Vista made its first return to Mahogany Bay, Roatan since the Pandemic began 16 months ago. The setting upon arrival was perfect, with beautiful weather and festivities at the Mahogany Bay Cruise Center. Cruise passengers were once again excited to return to one of their favorite ports. Individual’s working in the tourism industry felt a sign of relief and are full of optimism.

Island guests disembarking from the Carnival Vista are not required to provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination, nor a PCR test prior to arrival. However, all driver’s and tour guides will take precautionary measures in efforts to avoid transmission of such disease. Thus, all DRET staff is vaccinated, wear masks, and offer complimentary masks and hand sanitizer to our island guests.
